ON ORIGINALITY:

If you are an online marketer caught up in the article marketing craze, then you probably use, or have been tempted to use, the "private label" prewritten or ghostwritten articles for the purpose of acquiring links. If you have submitted one of these "bought and paid for" articles to Accessible Insights, your article will most likely be rejected.

Why? Because at Accessible Insights, the majority of our article topics pertain to disability awareness and related issues. There are very few general interest categories, so very few of the "canned" articles are appropriate for my site visitors.

Additionally, if you have submitted one of these prewritten articles, chances are that I have already received dozens of others exactly like it. At Accessible Insights, authors who submit original work that is educational and informative are given priority. Accessible Insights values the hard work that is required to write original content.

So, check out the numerous article topics posted, and submit your articles today.

Most Sincerely,

Accessible Insights Article Editor

ON AUTOMATED ARTICLE DISTRIBUTORS:

If you have submitted an article using one of the automated article distribution programs, chances are your article will be rejected. Why? Because by using these programs, you are not actually visiting the site on which your article may appear.

While the automated process certainly saves time, it assumes that all of the sites to which you submit your work are generic. Accessible Insights is not a generic article database.

Accessible Insights is a site for the education of, by and for people with disabilities, family caregivers, health care professionals and business as it relates to disability. Articles on deep sea fishing, holiday recipes or SEO are not appropriate.

So, if you get a rejection note from Accessible Insights, check out the site and try a new article. Rewrite your piece as it may relate to people with disabilities. For example, deep sea fishing expeditions for disabled
anglers who use wheelchairs.

Article Insights online and accepting articles!

Although the articles database is "live", I'm not ready to promote it yet. However, you are welcome to set up a free account and begin submitting articles.
As the Article Insights project is ongoing, please overlook the few pages that for now are incomplete.

In the meantime, I thought I'd throw down some thoughts on the terms of service and author guidelines. Formal terms will be posted later, so if you're a stickler for legal language, don't submit your work. I'm keeping things informal for now.

Article Insights Terms of Service

The mission of Article Insights is to provide users of Accessible Insights with useful, educational and valuable information pertaining to the topics listed in our article categories. Articles submitted must be of the highest quality, and should emphasize the needs of the disability, social services, professional and educational communities.

Your article will be accepted if:

Your article meets the posted author guidelines.
Your article is free of typos and obvious grammatical errors.
Your article meets the high quality and educational standards of Accessible Insights.
If I really like it.
If I really like you.

Your article will be rejected if:

You do not comply with 1, 2 or 3 above.
Your article is a blatant promotional piece for you or your business.
If it is complete crap.
If it is submitted in crayon.
The article contains affiliate links, HTML tags, or links to anything I do not like.
If your topic does not fit with our topic categories.
If your article contains hate, profanity, promotes violence or anything else that I find ugly and/ or is unlawful.
You really tick me off.

Article Insights articles are human-edited. Have mercy on your fellow human and proofread as well as spell-check your work. There is a difference, and if you do not know what the difference is, please do not submit your articles.

You are invited to submit as many articles as you like, and if you do not feel that your articles fit into the categories listed, send an email and Article Insights will consider creating a new category. Thank you for taking the time to offer your wisdom and experience to others who are seeking information. Best wishes for your writing success.
